Menditect has started to offer its product Menditect Test Automation (MTA) to Mendix customers and partners as of August 2021. In less than two years the company has attracted dozens of customers and partners and is growing fast.
“Menditect has developed unique technology to make test automation for Mendix apps easier and faster and is recognized for this both by customers, partners and Mendix.” says Markus Travaille, Chief Vision Officer at Menditect. “During these initial two years Menditect has proven its value in the Mendix ecosystem and is now ready for further growth. While started in The Netherlands, demand has started to grow from international customers as well. In the coming years the focus will be on extending the customer and partner base. A strong partner ecosystem and a strategic relationship with Mendix is key to this strategy”
Furthermore Menditect will continue to release new versions of MTA on a regular basis and will also add new products to its testing platform in order to empower Mendix teams even more in building apps with great quality. This requires a continuous investment in R&D and a strong collaboration with Mendix, partners and customers.
Menditect was founded by the owners of EGALiT, a Dutch Mendix reseller. They used their 10+ years of experience with building Mendix apps to lay the foundation of Menditect and MTA. As of may 2021 EGALiT and Menditect have become separate companies, although ownership remained with the founders. As Menditect was growing fast and became more and more independent from EGALiT it was a logical next step to look for a new owner of EGALiT. This empowers both EGALiT and Menditect and allows them to focus on their own growth strategy.
Last week Menditects founders sold the majority of their shares of EGALiT, the mother company of Menditect to the new general manager Johan van Duinkerken and an investor. Walter Moerkerken, the current manager of EGALiT will remain and will form the management team together with Johan van Duinkerken. The capital that is raised with this transaction is being used to fund the next growth phase of Menditect. EGALiT will remain a Menditect partner and reseller.
The capital raised with this transaction allows Menditect to focus on the long term growth strategy and make investments that are required for this. Menditect will invest in both the sales and R&D teams to support the further growth of Menditect and to keep on innovating with new features and products.
